Crysis 3 hits stores on February 21
Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that Crysis 3 will be available on February 21. The publisher has also recruited director Albert Hughes to create a series of trailers explaining ‘The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3’ to players.
It was already known that Crysis 3 would be released on the market in February 2013. Publisher Electronic Arts has now let know that the exact date the game will hit stores is February 21. The game will be available in three flavors: PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Pre-orders will receive the Hunter Edition of the game, which includes extras for the multiplayer portion of the shooter.
EA has also announced that it has recruited Albert Hughes. The director, known for films such as From Hell and Dead Presidents, has made a series of videos dubbed ‘The 7 Wonders of Crysis 3’. The title is derived from the seven districts within the game world. In the series, Hughes will highlight the distinctive elements of the game, such as weapons and opponents. It is not known where and when the videos can be viewed. EA announced the system requirements of the shooter earlier this month. Developer Crytek also gave the specifications of a system that makes the most of the game’s graphics options.
