Password Manager Dashlane is extending its free plan. Users who do not pay can now store an unlimited number of passwords. There were only 50 before. The limit of one device remains.

dash lane writes in a blog post that the Free plan changes. Previously, users could store up to 50 passwords, but with the new Free plan, there’s an infinite number of them. Dashlane says most users have on average about 100 passwords stored. The free plan also gets the option to share passwords with other Dashlane users with no limits. There were previously a maximum of 5. Finally, in the future, users will have access to saving notes if they have a free account. It was previously only available to paying users.

However, the free version is limited to a maximum of one device. Users who want to use the password manager on more devices must purchase the Advanced subscription. That will be cheaper; the price drops from 3.49 euros to 2.75 euros per month for an annual subscription. In that subscription is also monitoring of stolen passwords included.

Dashlane also changes the existing Family plan. This is now called Friends & Family and has a larger maximum number of accounts that can use the service. That used to be 6 and is now 10. The subscription now costs 6.66 euros instead of 7.99 euros per month.
