Users can customize the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller with their own colors and options. Microsoft has announced that. Until now, the controller was only available in black, but the colors of many parts can be adjusted via the Design Lab.

It concerns the Elite Series 2-Core controller, says Microsoft. Only the Core variant is now in the Design Lab that is not possible with the regular Elite Series 2. The various parts of the controller and buttons can be adjusted, among other things. In addition, the d-pad can be replaced by a navigation pad.

The controller without extras costs 140 euros, a total package including a case and paddles costs 60 euros extra. This means that the base price is 10 euros above that of the regular version of the Core, which costs 130 euros and is only available in white. Since 2016, various products have been adapted in the Design Lab with, among other things, own colors. Until now, those were only the regular controllers, but not an Elite model yet.
