Nintendo releases 15.0.0 update for Switch console without major changes
Nintendo has released update 15.0.0 for its Switch console. This update does not bring any major changes. Users can now take screenshots in the Switch Online app on the Switch’s home screen. The bluetooth audio settings have also been moved.
Nintendo reports in the patch notes of version 15.0.0 that users can take screenshots with the Switch’s photo button in the Switch Online app, where the company shares information about its subscription service. However, it is not possible to record videos playing in the app. In addition, option ‘Bluetooth Audio’ has been moved. It is now higher up in the system settings.
Furthermore, the bluetooth firmware for Nintendo Switch Pro Controller would have received an update, says Switch mud OatMealDome. Users will now also see a pop-up if they try to exceed the maximum volume of their headphones. Those changes are not in Nintendo’s patch notes.
The previous firmware update for the Nintendo Switch was released in March. The update added a feature that allows users to organize the games and apps for their Switch into folders. Nintendo calls that feature Groups.
