Final Fantasy VII Remake Is Timed Exclusive For PS4 Until March 2021
The Final Fantasy VII remake may be coming to Microsoft’s PC and consoles in 2021. The game will be released on March 3, 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and now it appears that it is a timed exclusive.
Twitter user Wario64 published an image of the cover of the Final Fantasy VII remake. It now states that the game will only be playable on PlayStation consoles until March 3, 2021. That implies that the game will also come to other platforms after that, until now nothing was known about that.
Traditionally, the Final Fantasy games have been closely tied to PlayStation consoles, but many games in the series are now available on other platforms as well. Microsoft recently announced that many of the older Final Fantasy games are coming to Xbox Game Pass.
The Final Fantasy VII remake has been in development for years. The game will be divided into several episodes and the first part will be released on March 3, 2020 for the PlayStation 4. The first episode will consist of two discs, which should indicate that there are many hours of play.
