Download Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1

Mozilla has released an update to version 20 of its web browser Firefox. In version 20, among other things, the download screen has been improved, it is possible to indicate per screen whether privacy mode should be used and the browser will no longer crash when an error occurs in one of the browser plugins. In addition, various improvements and bug fixes have of course been made. Version 20.0.1 brings a solution for people who store their profile on the network and before that from unc paths use.

Fixed in version 20.0.1:

• Windows-only update to handle issues around handling UNC paths (see bug 846848)

Known Issues

• If you try to start Firefox using a locked profile, it will crash (see 573369)
• Some function keys may not work when pressed (see 833719) – Resolved in v21
• Browsing and Download history clearing needs unification to avoid confusion on clearing download history (see 847627) – Resolved in v21
• Download statusbar add-on continues downloading files from Normal Browsing, when switching to Private Browsing (see 853463)
