Download Caliber 0.9.25

Caliber is an open source and cross platform ebook management program. Among other things, it can look up all relevant information and cover images and convert the ebooks to make them suitable for the various types of e-readers. It can also convert newspapers, magazines and news articles based on RSS feeds into e-book format, and books can be purchased from well-known web stores. A new version is released every Friday and this time, among other things, the possibility to adjust the table of contents has been added. The complete changelog for version 0.9.25 looks like this:

New Features

• Automatic adding: When checking for duplicates is enabled, use the same duplicates found dialog as is used during manual adding. Close tickets: 1160914
• ToC Editor: Allow searching to find a location quickly when browsing through the book to select a location for a ToC item
• ToC Editor: Add a button to quickly flatten the entire table of contents
• Conversion: When converting a single book to EPUB or AZW3, add an option to automatically launch the Table of Contents editor after the conversion completes. Found under the Table of Contents section of the conversion dialog.

Bug Fixes

• calibredb: Nicer error messages when user provides invalid input. Close tickets: 1160452, 1160631
• News download: Always use the .jpg extension for jpeg images as apparently Moon+ Reader cannot handle .jpeg
• Fix Book Details popup keyboard navigation doesn’t work on a Mac. Close tickets: 1159610
• Fix a regression that caused the case of the book files to not be changed when changing the case of the title/author on case insensitive filesystems
