Download NewsLeecher 5.0

After just under twenty beta releases, the final release of NewsLeecher version 5.0 has finally been released. With this program it is possible to download files from newsgroups in a simple way. The program supports nzb files, has a SuperSearch and can automatically check downloaded files for integrity and completeness, and then extract them independently. New in version 5.0 is, among other things, that tabs have been added to the SuperSearch. Furthermore, there is now a SuperSearch Watchdog and the user interface has been improved. Compared to the last beta release, nothing has actually changed, but the changelog does state that version 6.0 is now being worked on. In addition, all the first beta from version 5.1 available.

NewsLeecher V5.0 Final Release

• Since V5.0 is now final and has been released, we have begun to work on the NewsLeecher V6 series. NewsLeecher V6 will support automatic SuperSearch searching and downloading, based on user specified search queries. V6 will also implement fast and efficient scripting support, to make NewsLeecher much more flexible. Scripting will, for example, allow fully flexible and automatic download management, Repair & Extract management, etc..
