Version 4.0.1 of LibreOffice is only a few days old and already the Document Foundation has the first release candidate of the successor ready for you. This open source office package originated as a fork of OpenOffice and comes with the word processor Writer, spreadsheet program Calc, presentation program Impress, drawing program Draw, database program Base and Formula, an application for creating scientific notations. In this first release candidate we do not find any new possibilities, but some sixty problems have been solved.
