Version 3.6.0.85 of The KMPlayer has been released. This program, not to be confused with KMPlayer from the KDE Software Compilation, is a comprehensive media player for the Windows platform. The KMPlayer handles a variety of formats and containers, including vcd, dvd, avi, mkv, Ogg Theora, ogm, 3gp, mpeg-1/2/4, wmv, RealMedia, and QuickTime, using both internal as external filters. There are also extensive options for subtitles, it is possible to take screenshots or to save audio and video clips, and the appearance can be adjusted by means of skins.

Today, The KMPlayer is published by Pandora TV, but the original developer of this program started his own business some time ago. His media player is called Daum PotPlayer and is very similar in appearance and functionality to The KMPlayer.
