AMD is reportedly working on two new desktop GPUs. An RX 5500XT with Navi 14 GPU would be announced next week. AMD may also be working on an RX 5600XT with 6GB of gddr6 memory. This GPU should be on the market at the beginning of 2020.

Videocardz sources report that AMD will launch the RX 5600XT GPU early next year. This video card would have 6GB of gddr6-vram with a 192-bit interface. With this, AMD’s entire Navi lineup has the faster memory, compared to gddr5 memory in some GTX 1600 GPUs from Nvidia.

Videocardz reports that the GPU may be released in January. Furthermore, few details are known about the alleged RX 5600XT. For example, it is unclear which GPU the card contains exactly and how many cores the GPU has. Presumably it’s AMD’s answer to the GTX 1660 Super, but this is just speculation. The suggested retail price is also unknown.

Reportedly, work is also underway on the RX 5500XT, which should be available in two variants: a model with 4GB of gddr6 and a variant with double the amount. AMD previously announced an RX 5500 GPU, but Videocardz indicates that it will probably be used exclusively by OEMs. The RX 5500XT is said to be intended for consumers. The RX 5500XT was to be announced next week. Exact specifications and prices are not yet known.
