Renders of Samsung Galaxy S11e with three cameras come out
Renders of the suspected Samsung Galaxy S11e have appeared. The device has three cameras on the back, while the predecessor had to make do with two. At the front, a cutout has been made in the screen for the front camera.
The renders are posted on Pricebaba, in collaboration with OnLeaks. The latter often comes first with images of smartphones that have not yet been officially announced. What is striking is that the suspected Samsung Galaxy S11e has three vertically placed cameras on the back, while the current Galaxy S10e only has two there. Samsung also seems to have chosen to process the front camera in the smartphone through a hole in the screen.
According to Pricebaba and OnLeaks, the smartphone has a screen diagonal of about 6.3″. A 3.5mm jack does not appear to be present. The housing is 7.9mm thick, although that increases to 9.1mm when the camera cutout is opened. It is also striking that the fingerprint scanner that was still on the side with the Galaxy S10e is not present, so it is probably under the screen on the S11e. For the processor, Qualcomms Snapdragon 865-soc is probably used, or Samsung’s own Exynos 990.
The unveiling comes shortly after renders of the Samsung Galaxy S11 appeared, also via Pricebaba and OnLeaks. The Galaxy S11e and S11 are very similar in appearance, although the latter has a setup on the back with five cameras. Earlier there was already a rumor that all S11 versions will have curved screen edges. It is probably an AMOLED screen for all versions and according to rumors, the corresponding panel has a refresh rate of 120Hz and support for HDR10+.
Samsung is likely to announce the new range of Galaxy models early next year, although no specific release date has yet been announced. It is likely that the smartphones will have both 4G and 5G connectivity at release.
