Apple has deactivated the account of developer and 9to5Mac employee Guillherme Rambo. Rambo claims that in his own blog. He has often published news stories based on developer documentation and files from betas.

Rambo has tried in various ways to get in touch with an explanation about the denial of access to the account, but has received little response, according to his blog. Apple only wants to say that the company closed the account for security reasons. Rambo is a developer of several apps with many users, but he can no longer release updates.

He suspects it has to do with his publications on 9to5Mac, he tells Cult of Mac. He gets information from beta and developer documentation. Rambo has been unable to access the account since August and Apple employees have promised to call or email him several times. It appears that the account has not been deleted as Rambo’s apps are still available in the App Store. If Apple deletes a developer account altogether, those are gone too. Apple has not yet publicly commented on the matter.
