Download WinSCP 5.5.3
The third update for version 5.5 of WinSCP has been released. Released under an open source license, this program can securely copy files between two computers. The program supports ftp, secure ftp and the older scpprotocol. WinSCP is not only available as a standalone program, but also as plugin for the file managers FAR and Altap Salamander. The installation file is bundled with Google Chrome. The changelog for version 5.5.3 looks like this:

- Bug fix: Site colors were lost on Login dialog after language change.
- Bug fix: New site data were not reset after saving.
- Bug fix: Server hostname is not verified against certificate common name (or subject alternative name). 1152
- Bug fix: Help page was not defined for Panels > Local page of Preferences dialog.
