Obsidian Entertainment has announced Grounded. It is a game in which players have to survive in the garden greatly reduced in size, including fighting with ants and other insects.

The Grounded trailer shows how greatly reduced children try to find their way around the garden, fighting, building and collaborating. The idea seems inspired by the movie Honey I shrunk the kids and Obsidian told during Microsoft’s X019 event that it was already working with a small team on the survival game before the acquisition of Microsoft.

The game will be released in Spring 2020 and will first be available for testing through the Xbox Insider Program and Xbox Game Preview for Xbox One and PC. Obsidian is a studio best known for its RPGs. The most recent title is The Outer Worlds.
