Microsoft to release wired Xbox headset in September for 60 euros
Microsoft has announced a wired Xbox headset. The new headphones are cheaper than the current wireless version. Some of the features of the wireless headphones, such as the dial to adjust volume, are also included in the wired version.
By default, Microsoft includes a bright green wire to connect the headphones to the console or other device that provides audio, the company reports. The headphones have a 3.5mm jack to connect to devices. The headphones have support for technologies such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone: X.
The headphones also have a microphone, just like the wireless version that came out earlier this year. The wired version also has the mute button to quickly turn off the microphone. The headset will be sold separately as an option in addition to the wireless version. The headphones are on sale from September 21 for 60 euros.
