Playmobil launches Star Trek USS Enterprise playset
Playmobil boldly goes where Lego has never been and explores the world of Star Trek. The company will release a playset in September featuring the USS Enterprise NCC-1701, which includes a crew with Captain Kirk.
The Playmobil playset 70548 Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC-1701 contains the famous spaceship, which in the toy version has a length of one meter and a width of 45 centimeters. The lighting and sounds can be controlled via a mobile app according to the description. The spaceship can be opened to gain access to the bridge and technical room. The toy manufacturer supplies a standard to set up the spaceship nicely and there are also cables to hang the Enterprise from the ceiling.
In addition to the spaceship, the set includes the playing figures Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy, Chekov, Lt. Uhura, James T. Kirk, Spock, Lt. Sulu and Montgomery “Scotty” Scott. In addition, Playmobil promises that more accessories are on the way, so perhaps the company will supplement these with, for example, Klingons or Romulans.
Playmobil has not yet announced the set, but the set has appeared as a pre-order at the American store Entertainment Earth and Toy New International released the first photos. The release would be in September and a price of $ 499 is mentioned.
