Official renders show Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G with bulky camera module
Images of the Galaxy S20 series have come online that would be renders from Samsung itself. The renders show, among other things, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G with what Samsung calls a ‘Space Zoom 100x’ camera.
The images show the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and have been provided to 91moblies by well-known leaker Ishan Agarwal. Renders of the devices appeared online before, but these were CAD drawings based on rumors, while in this case it concerns the renders that Samsung has made itself.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a large camera island with four camera sensors. At the bottom is the periscopic sensor for 10x optical and 100x digital zoom, with the text ‘Space Zoom 100x’. Above it are the other three cameras and LED flash, and a time-of-flight sensor is also present. Previous rumors already revealed the details of the camera module of the S20 Ultra.
According to 91mobiles, the S20 Ultra comes in black, gray and blue for a starting price of 1349 euros for the model with 128GB or 256GB, while the version with 512GB should cost 1549 euros. Samsung is expected to announce the device on February 11.
Then the Galaxy S20 and S20+ should also appear. The S20 has three camera sensors with an LED flash next to it, the S20+ has four. Samsung is moving away from its 3D curved glass with curved screen around the edges at the Galaxy S line and uses 2.5D glass. The company does use its Infinity-O screens with a hole in the middle for the cameras. The Bixby button for Samsung’s voice assistant is absent from the images.
The starting price of the Galaxy S20 is 899 euros and 999 for the 5g variant, according to 91mobiles. The starting price of the Galaxy S20+ 5G would be 1099. Both devices would be available in black and in two blue variants.
