Warhorse Studios has officially released mods support for the PC version of the RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Those interested can download the official mod making tools.

Developer Warhose Studios has released the tools for creating the mods on Nexus Mods. It concerns three tools with which players can set up their own quests, write dialogues or adjust the routines of NPCs. Whether this mod support will eventually also be available for the console versions is unknown.

Warhorse will also release the raw data showing how the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance is built. The developer hopes that this will inspire mod makers to create new content for others. In addition, a modified version of the CryEngine Sandbox Editor is made available, along with extensions and other tools.

The Czech’s game was created with the CryEngine and already has quite a few mods that allow changing parts of the game. For example, there is a modification that makes it possible to save the progress at any time; in the original game this can only be done by sleeping in bed, drinking Savior Schnapps or via autosaves or exiting the game.
