Apple has released an application and website to screen people for possible infection with the coronavirus. Using a number of questions, users can get an indication of whether they are dealing with Covid-19.

At apple.com/covid19, users can answer questions about their symptoms and interactions with other people. Based on the answers, the tool provides a number of advice and the user is advised whether they should be tested for contamination with the coronavirus.

In addition to a web page, Apple has also developed a mobile application that can be downloaded for iPhone and iPad. Incidentally, that application has the same questions and the same advice is given. For the tool, Apple has collaborated with the CDC, the American variant of the RIVM.
