Download Firmware QNAP TS-xx0/xx2/xx9 3.8.1 build 1205

QNAP has released the first update to version 3.8 of the firmware for the NAS devices equipped with an ARM processor. In version 3.8.0 we find, among other things, a new user interface and it has become easier to install the NAS. Furthermore, support for Windows 8 has been added, proxies can now be used and it is now possible to specify per user which network services and modules may be used. Version 3.8.1 also adds the following changes and improvements:

Enhancements

• Auto-detect default Gateway in dual-LAN models if only 1 LAN is used

Major bug fixes

• Firmware upgrade could cause blank page on web administration in some condition
• Photo Station and Music Station became always enabled each time after NAS is restarted.
• QPKG Center could not correctly display the latest QPKGs
• [ARM] Download Station website subscription plug-in could not function
• HDD sleep mode did not function if Video Station, Download Station, or Surveillance Station is enabled.
