OCZ Technology has released new firmware for the Vertex 3, Vertex 3 Max IOPS, Agility 3 and Solid 3 series solid state drives. Updating the firmware is only possible when the drive is not the system disk under Windows. Issues resolved since version 2.06:

• Significantly improved drive recovery after unsafe power cycles
• Enhanced internal data structure integrity
• Increased the drive’s performance responsiveness and stability
