Download AkelPad 4.6.1

Version 4.6.1 of AkelPad has been released. This fast open source text editor is less than 200KB in size, but still has an extensive range features. It can be used as a replacement for the Notepad or Notepad supplied with Windows, but also for programming. Through plugins you can also add extra functionality, including syntax highlighting, autocompletion, scripts and macros. In this release, the following changes and improvements have been made to the program:

Added:

• In dialog “Recode…”:
  • automatic recognition of incoming and outgoing encodings;
  • preview;
  • change dialog sizes and save them.
• Command line option /Z to ignore the next command line parameter. Can be used for alternative way to replace MS Notepad.

Fixed:

• Edit window updating when appear message about file changing (MDI).
• Edit window updating after text deletion with word wrap on.
• Status bar update if in manual parameter “StatusUserFormat” only “%se[text]”specified.
