Download Skype for Linux 2.2.0.35 Beta
With version number 2.2.0.35, a new beta release of the voip program Skype for Linux has appeared. Downloads for the various Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, Fedora, and OpenSUSE, can be found at this page are being found. The connection issue that plagued the Skype network in late May has been resolved in this release. This was previously fixed in the Windows and Mac OS X version and now also under Linux. The changelog also mentions a lower processor load when making a video call.
