Download DVDFab 8.2.1.5

Version 8.2.1.5 of DVDFab has been released. DVDFab consists of several parts that can be used to rip, copy and convert movies from a DVD or Blu-ray into a format that can be played on a portable device such as the PSP or iPod, for example. The program can make a complete copy, but it is also possible to choose individual parts, for example only the main movie, with a limited number of languages ​​and subtitles.

The different parts of the program each have a own license. Those who do not need the Blu-ray functionality or who do not own a portable player do not have to pay for this functionality. Only the part to rip a disc, which can remove protection and region code at the same time, is still free. Since the previous entry in the Meuktracker, the following changes and improvements have been made:

• New: Added support for new BD+ protection.

• New: Added support for a new copy protection as found on “Cabin in the Woods”. Note: the protection only take effect on “Full Disc” and “Clone” backup.
• Fix: A decoding problem when copying BDAV discs in certain cases.
• Fix: No sound problem when playback the backup BDAV discs in certain cases.
• Fix: A problem that the backup BDAV discs cannot be played by PowerDVD in certain cases.
• Fix: A wrong aspect ratio problem when copying BDAV discs in certain cases.
