FileHippo has released a new version of its update checker. It is important that a computer is up-to-date, because that improves stability and security. There are various tools that can check whether there are newer versions of the programs on the computer, such as Personal Software Inspector from Secunia and Patch My PC. FileHippo App Manager is a small program that scans the computer and then indicates in a web browser which programs can be updated. The list only refers to original installation files, so you have full control over what you do or don’t install. The program only relies on .NET Framework 2.0 and can work with all versions of Windows.
