Download Emsisoft Anti-Malware 7.0.0.10

Emsisoft has released version 7.0.0.10 of Anti-Malware. The name of this program does not quite cover it, because the program not only offers protection against malware, it is also a full-fledged antivirus product. That also explains the heavy download of 198MB. A license for Anti-Malware costs 40 euros and for a tenner more you get Online Armor Firewall. Below is a list of the major changes in this release.

These are the major improvements:

• Improved first scan engine (A) now runs faster than ever.

• Optimized malware cleaning to be able to restore registry entries that were affected by malware.
• Improved surf protection to block malware-, phishing- and privacy risk websites with a brand new and more frequently updated database (every hour).
• Faster online updates via smaller incremental downloads. This means hourly updates are ready for use without delay.
