Download CorsixTH 0.62

CorsixTH is an open source clone of the game published by Bulfrog in 1997 Theme Hospital, in which the player must design and operate a hospital. To be able to play CorsixTH, the data files of the original game required. Downloads are available for Windows, Linux and macOS, although the latter two are no longer actively developed. The game can be played in a higher resolution than the original, is available in more languages ​​and contains several minor improvements. Almost all features of the original are already there, but it is the intention that new things will be added in the future. Version 0.62 was recently released and the changelog for that release looks like this:

New Features

• Player salary is now preserved between campaign levels
• Mouse capture is now shown on in game options screen
• Completely out of source builds are now supported on all platforms
• FHS style file layout (separate bin and share/corsixth directories) support for Linux (and non-Apple Unixes)
• On Linux (and other non-Apple Unixes) the CorsixTH executable is now called corsix-th
• LuaJIT 2.x is now supported, if using LuaJIT 1.x JIT is no longer enabled
• Meandering staff behavior has been tweaked to look more natural

Bug Fixes

• Hoppalong map in the included campaign was fixed to not crash
• Correctly handle the death of emergency patients
• VIP and other game event scheduling fixes
• VIP now works correctly when the hospital has no functional rooms
• Heat now spreads out from radiators in all directions again
• Fix for game error that caused the same litter to be cleaned up twice, and resulted in a crash
• Fix moving machines with no state
• All known memory leaks caused by our code have been fixed
• Many text and formatting improvements across languages
