OnePlus shows suspected OnePlus 8 Lite
Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has unveiled an unannounced smartphone. The design corresponds to the smartphone that was called the OnePlus 8 Lite in previous rumors and renders. OnePlus showed the device in a Chinese talk show.
OnePlus shows the phone in a talk show on Bilibili, something GSMArena had spotted. One of the guests at the table is Pete Lau. The unannounced smartphone sits in a bin with dummies of all kinds of OnePlus phones and the guests at the table discuss the designs of those phones. The audio is missing a few minutes of the conversation, although the last part of the conversation about the unannounced smartphone can be heard, around 41 minutes into the video.
The phone is about the same size as other OnePlus models. At the back, just like on renders, three cameras can be seen in the top left corner. OnePlus has often positioned the cameras of its smartphones centrally on the back, so this design differs slightly.
There have been rumors for some time that OnePlus wants to present three smartphones this spring. In addition to a regular model and a Pro phone, it would be a cheaper Lite version. OnePlus has not yet announced the price, release date and exact details of the phone.
