ASRock Introduces Mini PCs With Intel Alder Lake-P And Two 2.5Gbit/s LAN
ASRock has announced the NUC BOX 1200 series, small PCs that the company is supplying with Intel processors of the Alder Lake-P generation. The manufacturer releases three different models, which are equipped with two 2.5Gbit/s Ethernet.
ASRock equips the NUC BOX-1260P, -1240P and -1220P successively with the same name Intel Core i7, Core i5 and Core i3 processors. These are processors of the Alder Lake-P generation that are actually intended for laptops, have powerful P and economical E cores and have TDPs from 28W to 64W. Intel announced the processors early this year.
With the NUC BOX 1200 PCs, ASRock places the chips on its own NUC 1200 motherboard. Users can then provide the small systems with a maximum of 64GB DDR4 ram with a clock frequency of 3200MHz. They can also connect four screens to it, one via HDMI 2.0b and three via DisplayPort 1.4a, of which two via USB Type-C. At the back are two 2.5Gbit/s connections for Ethernet.
An SSD can be added via an M.2 connection and there is an M.2 Key E module for WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The dimensions of the mini PCs are 110x118x48mm and there is a fan to cool the processor. ASRock has not yet announced the prices. These are PCs from ASRock Industrial, which focuses on the industrial market. For consumers, ASRock has the Beebox with similar design.
