EA adds international matches to FIFA 13 career mode
Electronic Arts has announced that international matches will be added to the Career Mode of FIFA 13. Gamers can reach the national team of their country with their own player or start as national coach of a country themselves.
In FIFA 13’s expanded Career Mode, gamers can pursue an international career in a variety of ways, EA Sports announced on Monday. known† Just like in previous FIFA games, gamers can create their own player in the game and build a career with it, with the new extra that that player can be called up to represent his country. In a managerial career, success at club level can lead to an offer to become national coach of a country. In that case, the player is manager of both his club and a country.
The career mode promises to feature a full international calendar. Thus, players and managers will be able to make an appearance in friendly matches, qualifiers and various major tournaments.
Adding caps isn’t the only change EA Sports is making to FIFA 13’s career mode. For example, the transfer system has been changed to more realistically mimic players’ market value.
