After five beta versions, the Mozilla Foundation has released the first release candidate of Firefox 3.6 released. Version 3.6 of the popular browser is built around version 1.9.2 of Gecko and includes several improvements to the user interface. For example, the appearance can be easily adjusted through so-called personas and there is support for a new font format, namely the Web Open Font Format.
