Photo shows new cooler that Intel will ship with Alder Lake processors
A photo has appeared online of a CPU cooler that Intel will supply with upcoming, more energy-efficient Alder Lake processors. Currently, only the K versions of those CPUs are available; they are delivered without a cooler.

The RM1 cooler has a small heatsink and an LED strip around the fan. That fan is held in place by a large piece of plastic. This can be deduced from the photo that VideoCardz has put online in high resolution.
In September the cooler could already be seen in a alleged leaked slide from Intel, which has two other coolers on it. At the time, it was unclear whether the slide was real. Now that the cooler can also be seen in high resolution in another photo, it is likely that the three coolers all exist. In addition to the RM1, there is also a slightly larger RH1 with more LED lighting and an RS1 variant without LED ring.
According to the slide, Intel will supply the coolers in combination with 65W processors from the Alder Lake series. The RM1 shown would be paired with Core i7, i5 and i3 versions. The larger RH1 is for the Core i9 series and the RS1 is for Pentium and Celeron CPUs.
So far, Intel has only released 125W variants of the Alder Lake processors. They do not come with coolers. Intel is expected to present new variants of the Alder Lake processors on January 4, 2022. Presumably this concerns the versions that will also be supplied as a boxed version with the new coolers.
