Download Apple Boot Camp 1.3 beta

Apple upgraded Boot Camp to beta 1.3 a few days ago. The new version is available from this location downloaded as a 274 megabyte dmg image file. Using Boot Camp it is possible to boot Windows XP or Windows Vista. The software creates a separate partition on which one of the two operating systems is installed. A detailed description of exactly how Boot Camp works can be read in this article. Boot Camp’s 1.3 beta release allows, among other things, to turn on the MacBook Pro’s keyboard backlighting. In addition, the drivers for the graphics cards and Boot Camp have been updated. From now on it is also possible to pair an Apple Remote with the system. The full changelog looks like this:
