IT hardware and software supplier Infotheek Groep BV takes over e-commerce company 4Launch from Eindhoven. With 4Launch Infotheek wants to be more accessible for companies and consumers. The new combination should create a larger offer for the B2B channel.

4Launch will continue under its own name, Infotheek writes in a press release. With the purchase of 4Launch, Infotheek has access to knowledge about e-commerce. Director Jordy Kool of Infotheek: “I had been looking for a specialist for consumers and companies for some time. With 4Launch we found the right match.”

Guido Raaijmakers of 4Launch also sees many advantages for the e-commerce company, because the group of consumers and companies that are reached is growing. The webshop was founded in 2002 by Raaijmakers and Merijn Westerhof. They started classically in an attic room and soon had to hire staff to meet the growing demand. The 4Launch team currently consists of more than eighty employees.

Infotheek started in 1991 as a company aimed at students with little money who still needed a PC. The Leiden company has now grown considerably, has more than 400 employees and is focused on automation processes at companies and institutions.
