Intel is reportedly set to announce five Core i3s and five Pentiums for the desktop based on the upcoming Skylake architecture on September 1. The announcement coincides with that of next-generation Core i7s and Core i5s. Details about this have already been published.

More and more details are coming out about Intel’s Skylake lineup as it gets closer to launch. Cpu-world now reports what will follow after the Core i5-6600K and i7-6700K in combination with the Z170 chipset appear at Gamescom in Cologne next week. The other Core i5s and Core i7s will be released on September 1, the details of which have already surfaced. These are combined with the B150, H110, H170, Q150 and Q170 chipsets.

On the same day, the Core i3 and Pentium processors would also be unveiled by Intel. Five processors of both series are reportedly appearing and there will be economical 35W chips with T suffix and regular processors. According to Cpu-world, they get a tdp of 65W, but 54W seems more likely. Incidentally, Cpu-world notes that they will only be available at the end of September, just like the H110, Q150 and Q170 chipsets.
