Image of BlackBerry device with Android comes out
A render has appeared online showing the unannounced BlackBerry smartphone with the Android operating system. The device is codenamed Venice and previous rumors have already shown that BlackBerry will probably opt for the Snapdragon 808 soc .
The conscious image of the Venice is online set by Evan Blass on his Twitter account. Blass is someone who is often the first to publish pictures of unannounced smartphones. In the render, the smartphone can be seen from below, so that the entire housing is not clearly visible. It does appear that BlackBerry opts for rounded edges. The physical keyboard mentioned in previous rumors is not visible.
It is clear from the screen image that BlackBerry provides the smartphone with Android, something that was also apparent from previous rumors. The interface is very similar to the standard Android interface that Google has developed. It is unclear whether BlackBerry will put its own layer over it.
BlackBerry probably opts for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 soc for the housing. Furthermore, the rumors speak of a 5.4 “screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. When the Canadian manufacturer wants to announce the device is unclear. It would be the first Android smartphone from BlackBerry.
