Focus Home Interactive Introduces Warhammer 40k Shooter Necromunda: Hired Gun
StreumOn Studio is working on Necromunda: Hired Gun, an fps set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. In the game, players team up with a cyber dog and have to defeat enemies and hunt for bounties. The game will be released on June 1 for consoles and PC.
Necromunda: Hired Gun is set in the dystopian city of Necromunda. Players take on the role of an unnamed bounty hunter, who goes after bounties with multiple different weapons. In the game, gamers can wall-run, double-jump and navigate the city with a grappling hook. Players can also use the grappling hook to disarm enemies.
When players redeem bounties, they get money to upgrade themselves or their cybermastiff. Focus Home Interactive gives few details about that upgrade, although the publisher says that players can improve their brains, legs and weapons, among other things. That cyber dog can bite enemies to death or warn the player about enemies.
The game is made by StreumOn Studio, a French studio that previously made Space Hulk: Deathwing. Necromunda: Hired Gun is out June 1 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series consoles, and PC.
