SanDisk launches 200GB micro-SDXC card

SanDisk has released the Ultra micro-SDXC UHS-I Premium Edition micro-SDXC card with a storage capacity of 200GB. The micro-sdxc card is cheaper than the initially mentioned suggested retail price.

At Mobile World Congress in March, SanDisk already announced the Ultra micro-SDXC UHS-I Premium Edition with a storage capacity of 200GB. At the time, SanDisk quoted a suggested retail price of $400. The micro-sdxc card is now in the shops. In the United Kingdom, for example, the price is about 210 pounds, or just under 300 euros.

According to SanDisk, the micro-SDXC card achieves read speeds of up to 90MB/s. The writing performance is slightly lower. The card conforms to the SDXC Class 10 UHS-I specification. The manufacturer gives a ten-year warranty on the micro-SDXC card.
