Rumor: Chinese manufacturer is working on a phone with a 10,000mAh battery

A Chinese electronics manufacturer is said to be working on a smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery. That is three to four times as much as usual. Photos of the device recently surfaced on the internet.

The device comes from the relatively unknown manufacturer Oukitel. According to a description that has appeared on Imgur, it is a smartphone with a battery with a capacity of 10,000mAh. This would be enough to last a week on one energy charge even with heavy use.

Furthermore, the device may run on Android 5.1 Lollipop, Wccftech further notes. More details about the phone, of which no model number is known, are missing for the time being. Little can be said about the appearance from leaked images, because Oukitel completely shields the device.
