Killer Instinct gets a Windows version and cross-platform play with Xbox One
Microsoft is going to release a Windows version of Killer Instinct, the fighting game for the Xbox One. Xbox Phil Spencer made the announcement during the E3 PC Gaming Show in Los Angeles. The game will also support cross platform multiplayer.
The game originally came out only for the Xbox One in 2013 and is developed by Double Helix. Originally Killer Instinct is a franchise created by Rare. He was responsible for, for example, the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 versions of the games.
When the Windows version of Killer Instinct comes out, Phil Spencer has not said. In addition, it is not yet clear whether the game will only work on Windows 10, which was previously the case with Halo 2 and Windows Vista, for example.
