Eizo has added a 27″ monitor with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels to its product range. The monitor supports 10bit color reproduction and has a 16bit look-up table that can be used in combination with ColorNavigator software for hardware calibration.

The ColorEdge CS270 has an IPS panel with a 27-inch screen diagonal and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. According to the manufacturer, the screen can display 99 percent of the AdobeRGB color space. In addition to 10-bit color reproduction, the ColorEdge monitor includes a 16-bit look-up table. Eizo provides the ColorNavigator software with the display, which the look-up table in the monitor can use to calibrate to allow the user to adjust color temperature, brightness, black level and tone curve. Last week, Asus announced a 32-inch screen where this is also possible.

The CS270 displays images at a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2. The screen is equipped with displayport, DVI-D and HDMI and there is also a USB hub with two upstream and two downstream connections for connecting peripherals. The screen can be tilted 5 degrees forwards and 35 degrees backwards and can also be rotated 90 degrees and adjusted 15 cm in height. Eizo will supply the model from July for a suggested retail price of EUR 1099.
