Rumor: Samsung round smartwatch coming later this year

Samsung’s new round smartwatch will arrive in the second half of this year, a Samsung fan site reports, along with the introduction of the Galaxy Note 5. The company initially planned to introduce the Gear A earlier.

According to SamMobile, the introduction of the new smartwatch has been postponed, despite the fact that Samsung has not yet announced an official launch date. Samsung would now like to announce the smartwatch together with the Galaxy Note 5 at the IFA fair in Berlin, which will be held in September.

According to previous rumors, the Gear A is equipped with a ring around the bezel, which can rotate and with which the smartwatch can be operated. In addition, it is the first round smartwatch from Samsung. Although Samsung has not yet officially announced the device, the South Korean company has more or less confirmed the existence of the smartwatch.
