Camera HTC One M9 gets support for raw
HTC has updated the camera application for its smartphones. As a result, the current top model, the One M9, can take photos in RAW. Other HTC devices don’t seem to be supported for the time being.
The necessary update for the camera can be downloaded from Google Play. In the description, HTC says that owners of the One M9 will be able to shoot photos in raw format after updating. Specifically, it concerns the .dng format that is supported. Other HTC devices will not receive support for raw photos and it is unclear whether that will be added in the future.
Incidentally, there is also a new feature for the HTC One M8 Eye and the Desire Eye. It concerns the so-called Crop-Me-In mode with which it is possible to place a photo of yourself in another photo. In addition, there are some smaller changes that all users of the HTC camera can access.
