Download GIMP 2.10

After a long development process, the final version of version 2.10 of the open source photo editing program GIMP has now been released. The name GIMP is an abbreviation for ‘GNU Image Manipulation Program’. The software is available for various operating systems, including Windows, FreeBSD, Linux, macOS and Solaris. New in version 2.10 includes the GEGL-image processing engine, the canvas can be rotated and we find several new and improved tools. Introduction

GIMP 2.10 is the result of six years of work that originally focused on porting the program to a new image processing engine, GGL. However the new version ships with far more new features, including new and improved tools, better file formats support, various usability improvements, revamped color management support, a plethora of improvements targeted at digital painters and photographers, metadata editing, and much, much more .
