EA Play will be available Thursday with Xbox Game Pass for PC donderdag
Microsoft will complete the integration of EA Play with the Xbox Game Pass subscription for PC this week. Members will be able to use the service from Thursday. Microsoft announced the integration in September last year, but it was delayed with the PC version.
Beginning Thursday evening at 10:00 PM GMT, Xbox Game Pass users who have the PC subscription or the Ultimate subscription will be able to use EA Play on PC. This requires the use of EA software and an EA account.
Players will need to download the EA Desktop app, which is currently in beta. Then you have to log in with an EA account. After that, players can link their Xbox account and gain access to the EA Play subscription.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have access to the library of games on EA Play. It currently contains more than 60 games, including Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, FIFA 20, Titanfall 2 and Need for Speed Heat. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is also coming to EA Play this week.
Microsoft announced in September last year that EA Play will be part of Game Pass. Players on consoles already got that integration with the release of the Xbox Series X and S in November, but on PC that would follow later. The integration was postponed at the end of 2020, but it was not clear until when.
The Xbox Game Pass subscription for PC costs 10 euros per month. The Ultimate subscription, which is also valid for consoles and cloud gaming, costs 13 euros per month. EA Play is also available separately for 5 euros per month.
