Arctic comes with a new version of its thermal paste. The MX-5 variant follows the more than ten-year-old MX-4 thermal paste. Like the existing version, the new paste contains no metals and the material is not electrically conductive.

Arctic has not yet announced its MX-5 thermal paste, but the thermal paste can already be seen at Amazon UK. A 4 gram tube costs 13.59 British pounds. Converted that is 15.24 euros. The product description does not give details about the thermal conductivity or viscosity, but it does make it clear that it is a thermal paste that does not contain metal particles and that is not electrically conductive.

According to Amazon’s listing, the MX-5 thermal paste will be available for purchase from March 15. Arctic has been selling the MX-4 thermal paste since 2010. It is not yet clear what improvements the new version will bring. According to the description, the new paste will last eight years after application, but that also applies to the MX-4 and MX-2 variants.
