TCL will release video glasses with two 1080p OLED screens later this year
TCL is going to release glasses that are equipped with two 1080p OLED screens. When wearing the glasses, wearers see a virtual screen that is comparable to a 140″ screen at a distance of four meters.
TCL has already shown its OLED glasses at trade fairs under the name Project Archery, but now announces that the product will actually be released with the name TCL Wearable Display. The glasses are intended as a portable video screen. There is a 1080p OLED screen in front of every eye and based on the render of TCL, it concerns panels from Sony.
When users put on the glasses, they see a virtual screen that is comparable to a 140″ screen at a distance of four meters. The sharpness comes out at 49 pixels per degree, according to the manufacturer.
