Ubisoft introduces new subscription with games from back catalogue
Ubisoft introduces a new subscription: Ubisoft+ Classics. This formula includes games from the back catalog including Far Cry 6, Rainbox Six Siege and Watch Dogs: Legions. The company is also merging the Ubisoft+ Multi Access and Ubisoft+ PC Access subscriptions into Ubisoft+ Premium.
The Ubisoft+ Classics catalog currently contains more than fifty games and will continue to expand over time, says Philippe Tremblay, director of subscriptions at Ubisoft. It is not yet clear which games can be expected.
Ubisoft+ Classics will be included by default PlayStation+ Extra and PlayStation+ Premium, but there will also be a PC version of the subscription. This version costs 7.99 euros per month. PlayStation+ Extra costs 13.99 euros per month and PlayStation+ Premium costs 16.99 euros per month. These Sony subscriptions contain varied content.
Ubisoft+ Multi Access and Ubisoft PC Access will be deleted and replaced by Ubisoft+ Premium. The catalog of this new subscription contains more than 100 games, according to Ubisoft, and users will also get immediate access to new releases. Ubisoft+ Premium will also include Premium Editions of Ubisoft games and subscribers will get monthly rewards and periodic discounts and deals. Ubisoft+ Premium is available for PC gamers and Amazon Luna users, but some games can also be played on Xbox consoles. This subscription costs 17.99 euros per month.
