AMD releases Radeon RX 7600 XT video card with 16GB memory on January 24
AMD introduces its Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card for desktops. It has the same GPU as the RX 7600 non-XT, but has twice as much memory and higher clock speeds. The video card will be released on January 24.
The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT has an RDNA 3 GPU with 32 compute units, which together account for 2048 stream processors. The video card therefore has exactly the same GPU as the existing RX 7600, although the clock speeds have been increased. The Game and boost clocks of the XT variant are 2.47 and 2.76GHz respectively. On the 7600 non-XT these are 2.25 and 2.66GHz.
The video card also has twice as much memory as the RX 7600. This gives the card 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The memory speeds are unchanged, as is the memory bus. The RX 7600 XT thus receives 18Gbit/s memory on a 128bit memory bus, for a total bandwidth of 288GB/s. The video card also gets 32MB Infinity Cache.
Furthermore, the total board power of the Radeon RX 7600 XT has been increased to 190W. The video card also has DisplayPort 2.1 support as standard. This was optional with the Radeon RX 7600. AMD will release the Radeon RX 7600 XT on January 24. The video card will then cost $329.
